Heroine addict for over 20 years In and out of jail Found myself homeless and hopeless. I had expected the fact that I was going to die a drug addiction. 2 drug overdoses It was January of 2021 and the just couldn’t take it anymore. I walked into victory outreach Rockford women’s home And God grabbed hold of my heart and started to do a work inside of my life.

It’s been almost 4 years now and I haven’t looked back. God has restored my relationship with my children and also my family. I thank God for victory outreach, if it had not been for victory outreach, I know that I wouldn’t be here today, God is the glory and I thank him for using my Auntie and getting me here.

Tania's Testimony

My name is Tania and I am currently 46 years old and I believe I would be dead if it were not for Victory Outreach and Sister Jackie! In 2015, I was addicted to heroin and meth and I could not stop. My family in Texas could no longer handle me so I reached out to my cousin Cisco who had been in VO mens home and he sent a bus ticket for me and that is when I started my journey with God.

I didn't want to be there but Sister Jackie would not give up on me. I was rude, spoiled and a mess but Sister Jackie won me over with God's love. I did not know God before VO and I feel like they saved my soul!

I am now clean for 5 years and am in Mexico about to purchase my first house. I have 2 dogs that I adore, Tupac and Snoop and most important, I still have God in my life. My family also gave me another chance and I am very close to them. I got my Associate's degree and am about to pursue my Bachelor's. I have a great job and I am blessed to make the money to take care of myself. I volunteer at animal shelters and am looking forward to volunteer here in a Mexican prison soon. All of this would not be possible if not for VO and Sister Jackie! She is my spiritual mom and has always been there for me, even now, 10 years after leaving the home!
